| Flixonase nasal spray is a once a day hayfever and allergy treatment. Flixonase is also known as Flonase in the United States. Flixonase provides you with effective relief for all the major symptoms of hayfever (allergic rhinitis), runny nose, watery itchy eyes, sneezing and nasal and sinus congestion. Flixonase contains an active ingredient called Fluticasone propionate, which treats inflamed tissue. It works by reducing swelling inside your nose making breathing easier. Flixonase is administered as a nasal spray each bottle containing 120 doses. Flixonase is designed to work best on a daily basis, even if your hayfever or allergy symptoms have gone away or are reduced. If Flixonase is only used on an irregular basis, for example every four or five days, it will not be as effective. |

Purpose:

- Used once daily FLIXONASE 24 HOUR (Flonase) effectively treats perennial allergy and seasonal allergy (hayfever) symptoms including sneezing, nasal congestion, runny and itchy nose and irritated eyes.
- Studies show that FLIXONASE 24 HOUR (Flonase) works on relieving nasal symptoms within 12 hours after the first dose, and as early as 2 to 4 hours in some patients. Maximum effect of Flonase can be expected around day three of treatment.
- FLIXONASE 24 HOUR (Flonase - fluticasone propionate) has potent anti-inflammatory activity with no detectable systemic activity.

Active Ingredient:
Fluticasone Propionate 50 mcg

Dosage:
In adults and children over 12 years of age, two sprays into each nostril once a day, preferably in the morning, unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise.
Your doctor/pharmacist will advise you what to do if only one nostril is affected.
The maximum amount of sprays per day must not be more than 2 sprays into each nostril.
You may not feel the maximum benefit from your medicine straight away, but it is important that you continue to use it daily. It may take a few days until you get maximum relief from your medicine.

Warning:
Do not use Flixonase 24-Hour if you have ever had an allergic reaction to fluticasone propionate or any of the ingredients listed under the Product Description section. Read the side effects section to find out the symptoms of an allergic reaction to Flixonase 24-Hour.
Do not use Flixonase 24-Hour if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor or pharmacist says you should.
Do not use Flixonase 24-Hour after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the pack. If you use the product after the expiry date has passed, it may not work as well.
Do not use Flixonase 24-Hour if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
If you're not sure whether you should be using Flixonase 24-Hour, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Flixonase 24-Hour is not recommended for use in patients under 12 years of age.
